how rail is attached at base
Gives me an idea of how to use some of the double volume space in my living area
Nice railing. Not sure how I feel about the brackets supporting the posts.
This bridge overlooks a double-height that serves a pool to the left of the photo. Note the door at the end of the walkway ...

Love the fireplace doors? Do you know where the fireplace/doors are from?
is the trim around the window the same width as trim around the door
windows like these (living area) next to a door leading onto a patio. on the other side of the door is a window 6' wide x 4' tall (dining table area). the trim around another door in the room is going to be 3.5 ". do we use the same width trim on the doors as the windows? thanks
Love your designs- enjoy looking at all your photos!! Really like the fireplace screen. Can you provide any details on how/who made it?
The fireplace doors are from a company in Montana called Ironhaus you can see their work @ Ironhaus.com. Cliff is great to work with.

Beautiful. How do you handle the heat of the fireplace with the TV above? Is this is a faux fireplace without a chimney?

similar? Is the original panel glossy? If not, how did you make it glossy?
We specified roller shades. See graphic. Roller shades are located in a 'pocket' along the windows. Note the Section Detail where we furred (dropped) the ceiling to create this pocket. Hope this helps!. :: thirdstone inc. [^]

cobined bathroom/laundry on the upper floor. we created a passageway from kitchen to living room to allow light & traffic to flow through the space. pocket doors can divide the spaces when the need arises. the douglas fir vanity in the upper bathroom houses a built-in washer & dryer flanking the sink.
I wanted to know what material (wood/composite etc) the shelves and doors were made of
Like the combo of pictures and books! Also love how open and clean it feels.
like how the items are broken up on right hand side. different shelf sizing.
Black countertop, base deeper than upper shelves, doors & drawers
