Are there disadvantages of an open floor plan home?
The largest disadvantage is clutter control and noise carries. I find most home owners that don't like open floor plans is because of these 2 factors. In
across an entire room quickly, and clutter can make the difference if the home looks clean and tidy. Noise and privacy are also disadvantages of an open
floor plan.. But I have to say, I love the openness of my open floor plan home, and being able to see out the windows from all angles of the room.
