“Ealpet, The ceiling is 1x4 Tongue & Groove spruce. Don't use Pine when you're planning to paint it out white - the oils in the knots bleed through and leave stains. I hope that helps... thanks for asking! Jeff - Jeannette Architects.”

“exactly the shade of your current parquet finish, but the driftwood grey on the walls and carpet here offers a rather handsome contrast. Hate to suggest re-painting, but may be lesser of 2 evils. If you decide to go all parquet, I think re-painting walls to a more crisp clean cool (as opposed to warm)”
