thanks for the glittery yellow.... can you tell me the names of each of the orange colors you used in these rooms.... fireplace, close up of chair and color in room, (almost brown) with oval dining table, behind mantle? Thanks so much....
Need paint company who makes the orange wall color and need the exact
Mantels come in all shapes and sizes, but using a little experience, I'd say the gas fireplace in the photo above is about 32" tall, the tiled surround and trim is about 8" high (6" tiles + 2" trim), the orange bit of wall is about 5" high, the mantel shelf header is about 9" high and the shelf itself
burnt orange color to use, as I'm going to paint my front door the same color to stand out from white exterior trim and a dark, brownish/gray teak colored siding. Will post pics when project is done. Thanks for the encouragement.

Contemporary Living Room
Love the colors. Can you please tell me the brand and color name of the orange and grey?
Sorry- I don't know. The homeowner selected the color. I will tell you that the flash changed the colors a little. The orange in real life is a little bit more muted, but hey- if you like it, go for it
grey wall color with orange accent wall
Love the orange accent wall. Who would have thought orange could look this good?
Gray walls with orange accent wall
love the gray with orange on this!
Here's another gorgeous orange accent wall in an otherwise neutral space. One of the benefits of such an open, light-filled room is that you can use lots of bold colors and medium to dark grays without the space becoming cave-like.

In this open plan configuration the areas speak to one another and become background for each other. The burnt orange wall contrasts with the stacked stone fireplace mass and become the backdrop to the dining area.

counter height in the oven area?
Hi! Gorgeous home! Could you please let me know what is the height you used in order to place the oven within one of the islands? I'm considering doing something similar in my kitchen, but I'm unsure as to how high I should go to accomodate the oven. Thanks so much for

3. Surround bold color with natural elements. Another great way to temper a rich hue (like the orange used here) is by surrounding it with objects and materials from nature. Stone

fireplace. Given our modern design aesthetic, the long but narrow fireplace would certainly work. The question is where can I find a wood burning (not gas) fireplace? Are there fabricators who make these domestically (New York - Mid Atlantic)?
in the long run is that one can generally convert from wood to gas, but not the other way (unless you are changing back to wood from gas). The technology involved when installing a solid fuel burning fireplaces is also acceptable for gas products, but not vice versa. Now that modern fireplaces with
change out the artificial logs in their gas fireplace to something more modern. The answer is "NO". But if you have a masonry woodburning fireplace with a working chimney, you may change over to a gas burner for convenience. I am not one to talk you into gas, because I love everything about wood, but
