LOVE the back end of the Corvette. I wouldn't want it in my living room, but I love unexpected objects (or parts of them)
wouldn't be complete without a desk that captured its owner's lively personality. Designer Hilary Phillips gave her client the ultimate desk: a red Corvette.Check out more great desks in the Products section

So my question...how did you get what appears to be a very large window as well, a rod that doesn't look like it has a bracket in the middle of rod? I figure
but didn't see anything about depth. Also what is the depth of the mantel and how far does the fireplace surround come out on the floor? The scale of this design is perfect as the fireplace doesn't look lost in the bookshelves. Great job!
I can't quite tell from the picture. Thanks
I don't know what color pulls or knobs to get for my cabinet doors? Thanks for your help!
I can't remember the wall color, I'll need to get back to you with that info. Thank you for your questions- Lorraine

Are there any measures that can be taken to ensure that the T.V. will not be affected due to the heat radiating from the fire?
but can't really tell how high they are. The bottom one looks a little bit higher than the rest?!
but wasn't sure how to get the shelves to "match" the cabinetry bought from manufacturer. Did they supply the materials for the shelves or did your company create them? If so, how did they replicate the color? Absolutely gorgeous!
Didn't see this answer in the other posts. Can you please tell me the paint color for the walls, I am looking for a subtle blue/gray. Thank you!
about 10 sample paints, but I'm being haunted by Vapor Trails. I love blue/greens and I think of this color as a neutral, looking great with dark brown, any blue green and even a yellow green. Help.....do you agree, or am I hallucinating, which wouldn't surprise me, given all the paint colors I've
However, don’t stop with those. If you happen to have beautyberry (Callicarpa americana, zones 6 to 10), firethorn (Pyracantha coccinea, zones 6 to 9) or bordergrass (Liriope spicata, zones 4 to 10) in the garden, be sure to trim some for wreaths, vases and tablescapes.

I can't see where the room ends, just knowing the length from far wall to second door wall. Thanks!
Don't know if it helps, but they're very similar to the Caroline Stationary Occasional Chair by La-Z-Boy.
Sorry, I don't know the source. I believe they were provided by my client's designer. Here is a link to her website. Maybe you can track them down that way. http://www.gilstrapedwards.com/

something like 10" deep, but you could make them as shallow as 4" - 6" and that would help also.
10' ceiling with 8' doors. coffers make ceiling look closer to door. Could crown moulding have similar effect?
