This space is approximately 13' x 26' overall (the photo is being taken from a niche area at the far end) and the bunk beds fit an extra long twin mattress. We gave about 3" - 4" on all sides of the mattress.

Here in Oz we call it lime wash or milk wash. It is applied to bare wood and is useful to stop the natural yellowing of pinewood.

Siemasko + Verbridge
is slippery and others say it is good if its rustic with grout lines. I've also considered a porcelain wood look with lots of grain. Do you know of any good sources for a very real looking wood tile? What are your thoughts?

There are a few different styles of sliding library ladders out there. Ones that are all steel, ones that incorporate wood steps, along with a few different styles. I have sources for many different ones.
