of the books. (Idea for the small book collection in the second living room.)
Nice book shelves - but we could use the cheap ones from IKEA
Love the books on shelves BY COLOR

Separate books by color of covers
he is your classic whole-to-part person. If you are having trouble picking up on the clues, here is a sure-fire test: Ask the client how he reads books. Does he read slowly and carefully without ever skipping a paragraph? He is a part to whole. On the other hand, if (like me) he reads the last page

Love the leather chair and books oh how I love books!
I love having books on display.
Love the idea of a wall of books with opening for windows and light. Perhaps in the playroom, which can hold toys for now and books later.

I like this style ... whatever style it is called.
Color Coded Books on the shelf
color coded books in a blue and white living room
The books in blocks of color
Color coordinated. The custom shelving unit and the book styling in this traditional living room are stunning. The designer grounds the space with neutral furnishings and layers on splashes of color by way of book spines.
Bonus: It will give you an excuse to peruse all of your favorite old books!
Colour coded. Those who have discovered the joy of colour-coding their bookshelves will understand when I say, just do it. Walking into a room with books arranged by colour is one of those secret ingredients that give a room
rearranging your tomes by the colour of their spines rather than the topic for a change. As a bonus it will give you an excuse to peruse your favourite old books!

bar and was wondering what to do with the space. I'm going to show my contractor and go for it. The kids will love to sit with their laptop or read a book. It will create some interest in the room too. Thank you!!!
It was from a company called Twigs, however I do not believe this paper is still in their line. You might try Ralph Lauren. Hope you find something similar !
Book nook. Made from a closet
the bed and the book shelf
The book study case is pretty and unique. I love it . It's like a little personal getaway .
1. The reading nook. Coziness is priority number one. Add books, good lighting and a rainy Sunday and you've got yourself a little slice of perfection.
5. Book nook. Transform a closet into a library oasis by installing wall shelves to store your favorite reads

Before our house fire, our family library included thousands of books. And this was with continual donations and a thorough going-over during our housewide decluttering. Now I can see I held onto books I didn't love for one or more of the following reasons: Sentimentality. I owned three

shelves. Do you know how they were fabricated? Is there a custom bracket secured to the wall, or was custom steel used to support the weight of the books? Is this solid wood, or wood wrapped around brackets? Any info is appreciated, thanks!
the load of the books causes the studs in the wall to deflect, even a little, it could cause the drywall to crack and/or the drywall screws to pop. The more the load of the books, the more problems that can be caused. However, if you're willing to be selective in the number of books on the shelf, your
materials and cost. Is it structurally sound? If you're planning on filling the shelves full of books [like in the Thorn project] you'll be looking at about 30-50 lbs per linear foot [up to 200 lbs for 4 feet of books]. More importantly, the 12-14 inch cantilever off the wall creates a downward pulling, moment

Where can I get the service bar?
What books do you put at the ceiling ? ;)
One may not have that many books so it is appropriate to use book props...you would have the same affect...really nice look
This client did have a very extensive book collection :) For more questions, shoot us an email! info@lminteriordesign.com
furniture fitted into the wall of books an interesting look and possible solution in the future...
Love the book wall with chaise. reading room
Love this but with movies instead of books
High-end library. An empty wall is all you really need to build a library. If your space has vaulted ceilings, show them off by extending the wall of books to the very top.
