The color is ferric nitrate acid applied with gentle heat and sealed with carnauba floor wax. Architectural copper for internal use should be patinated and sealed
un-sealed copper oxidizes to an undesirable color. External copper should be allowed to naturally patinate without a sealer. Depending on local polluntants, the outside copper will achieve an olive-green patina.

How did you adhere the copper to the wall.
How far off the floor is the mantel?
Unfortunately, I no longer have the information about it. They are treated copper panels that were mounted on dark wood.
The copper color is Benjamin Moore AF-240 Satchel and the lighter color is BM AF-345
The panels are actually made of MDF and painted with a copper metallic finish. They were mounted onto the wall with adhesive and finishing nails prior to painting.
Coming in late here, but how did they achieve that "wavy" effect with the copper paint? Blow dryer?
It is approximately 46" from the finished floor.

kitchen is partly seperated by a corner wall. I do not like the couch or the floor. Picture is pretty cool and of course the fireplace is nice the way it divides the space between the the two rooms. Although I do like copper I would have our fire place be more neutral.
