Traditional Kitchen Remodel
This outdated 1950's kitchen and home was in desperate need of a facelift. The small, cramped kitchen was opened up removing the door and wall between it and the living room. An island was added and a large pantry space incorporated to improve entertaining area and storage. There are new stained cabinets

Love the layout of this kitchen and how it combines so many usable spaces without feeling cramped. Lots of space, but still feels cozy! Can you tell me the dimensions of the kitchen and connected seating area?
Love the kitchen where are the cabinets from?
off! Could you tell me the length of the cabinets? They appear to be two separate units. Is this correct and two different heights? Lovely, warm kitchen!
What kind a wood treatment is on the ceiling in the kitchen?
of the fridge to the living room side of the black cabinets? We are about to undertake a kitchen remodel and have two posts we have to contend with. This seems like a great solution but I'm not sure our kitchen can accommodate two "islands". Thank you.
How tall is the Bar and does it match the rest of the Kitchen counters
compact it is, but doesn't have that cramped feel about it...thinking the long doors to the right is possibly a small pantry, which is great for storage problems

I love the look and feel of this room but only have 9 foot ceilings and am concerned that having the beams set lower would make things feel cramped. What are the beams outlining the room (and the ones on the ceiling) made of and how far down from the ceiling are they set? This is a gorgeous
only you reduce the dimensions of the beam & the distance from the ceiling. But also try to consider your room area if applying this design will not cramp it. I hope this helps!

Interior layout — DO:Incorporate a smooth and open layout. Anything that feels too cramped or doesn't make sense might need help from a good contractor before going on the market. Think about potential. Does a basement have the capability of turning into a media room, or are the ceilings too low? Fix
Fix negative features when possible. Small bathrooms, rooms that are accessed through other rooms, slanted second-floor ceilings and small kitchens can be a downside.DON'T worry about changing features that are common for the home's age and area. Appraisers do take into account the way the home functions

"Our clients almost always want to improve the flow and connection between rooms."Consider taking down a wall between the kitchen and dining room, the living room and kitchen, or the kitchen and breakfast nook to open
