Beautiful design for family room. Would lower the TV a bit, and of course will pick a bigger one too.
Great use of space. The windows create the visual of more room in an otherwise confined area. The tiger wood wall is a great design element against the white walls and floors.

Not best design but like how goes through both sides
The Valley Lane home, also designed by architect Mark Gerwing, is a long open space with a large fireplace dividing the kitchen and dining areas from the living room. What a great place
Bring it inside. These types of chimneys aren't just for exterior wall applications. Metal chimneys are ideal design elements for two-sided fireplaces, where they help keep the interior spaces more open and connected. This interior wouldn't be nearly as open, bright

I was the builder of the house. The interior design work and furnishings were done by Gretchen Gilstrap Edwards. Perhaps you could check with her. Here is a link to her website. http://www.gilstrapedwards
My client got those through her interior designer, Gretchen Gilstrap Edwards. I'm sure if you give them a call or email them, they would be happy to help you. info@gilstrapedwards.com Gary Dresser
Gary-Just had to say thank you for giving the specifics (twice!) of the floor. So many designers come up short when asked about the specific stain and species combination, and it is such a critical element of a room! Love that floor, and gorgeous
Sorry, I don't know the source. I believe they were provided by my client's designer. Here is a link to her website. Maybe you can track them down that way. http://www.gilstrapedwards.com/ Gary Dresser Dresser Homes

the bar stools features a stool different to the ones in the photo. I would love to know where to get these actual stools. I notice the architect/designer has also used them in white in another of his featured homes. Thanks
Hi Paddy, The coffee table is by FTF Design Studio and the finish is walnut. The dimensions of this table are 60" x 40" x 12" high, but they can custom this table to various sizes. Thanks.

Pearl

Questions14
The Pearl is a Contemporary styled Florida Tropical home. The Pearl was designed and built by Josh Wynne Construction. The design was a reflection of the unusually shaped lot which is quite pie shaped. This green home is expected to achieve the LEED Platinum rating and is certified Energy Star, FGBC
The entire assembly was custom designed and built. It was not really that difficult for a pro. I am sure a good tile man and glass contractor could figure it out from my description on the detail images in this album.
equal, the middle is 26" deeper than the sides. That allowed the cabinets to finish just rearward of the fireplace face. The upper middle area was designed to finish flush to the 11 1/2" soffit above, leaving roughly 14" for a shelf. The room is 32' wide so I used this element to anchor the space.
