Is the material/design on fireplace Tile to look like concrete or concrete panels. I didn't see a "concrete" answer to this questions previously. I want
actually concrete panels that are simply the under layer that were installed to accept the tiles we had planned to put up. However, when we saw the concrete panels, we liked them so we kept them as it. They are a type of fibre board that are impregnated with concrete. Hope tha helps. They were never meant
to be concrete, its a technique called "Board form" This look was traditionally created by casting the concrete walls for the house using plywood. 2Stone just released our new "Board Form" line of tiles. They can be created in any size ( we just made a 4'x8' sheet for the exterior wall of our studio)

What color tint did you use? Did you seal it with polyurethane? Any hints about application i.e. like don't use a mop or you'll end up with fiber particles. Thanks in adv. for your help.
what is the blue pain color on the wall next to the stairs? thanks
pouring concrete over the existing brick veneer. It is about 4" thick and the lines you see are from the form work joints. We intentionally limited the amount of vibrating when pouring to allow there to be air pockets in the finished surface for more character.

pouring concrete like this? thanks so much!
Are the concrete planks available as ready made?
I know it's poured concrete, but if I were to do it on wood, how would I stain it to get this
What color concrete did you mix? It looks like more than one color
I just put in a fireplace with similar color and look and I love the geometric, open screen curtain. I was wondering if you would be willing to share where you got that material
full of concret or a tile? I'm planning to do one of this in my house. Thank you in advance!
would there be a concerned about the concrete cracking or discoloring?
love the concrete fireplace! very unique! thanks:)!
would the concrete treatment on the fireplace work on floors? not sure how that would be accomplished exactly, but really like the look. Thanks.

is an epoxy coating with a reflective colored powder mixed in. There are a fair amount of colors available. They can be used alone or blended for some really interesting effects. The epoxies have gotten better over the years but there is generally a sacrificial top coat of another sealer applied to take

Could you tell me how you finished the concrete? Thanks.
The concrete is Diamond polished and clear sealed. Polished to the point where some of the aggregate is exposed.

polished concrete floor. As a material for use in the home, concrete is top notch. As the longest lasting flooring solution available concrete’s durability can’t be beat. It’s cost effective, gorgeous, long lasting and let’s not forget the possibility of ambient heat! There is truly nothing like the feeling
