Each door is 2'8" wide and 8'0" tall.
It really depends upon the height of the doors and windows in the room. If they are at 6'8" or 7'0", then I think it would work fine. If they are 8', I think the coffered ceiling would look

it is a medium walnut brown stain.
Thank you - I truly don't recall those dimensions. That said I would guess the overall ceiling height is 9'-6" and the dropped ceiling is between 5" & 6" lower.
I am building a 8' X 5' bar area with a wine cabinet on the opposite wall. We have just removed a really low ceiling to create a 6" recessed area. I purchased 3" gimbal

I read the other postings, and saw the kitchen dimensions were 22'-8" X 14'-5". Would you share the dimensions of the living area after the load bearing beam? Many thanks!
No it does not. The crown projects out an additional 2- 3/4" from the 6" wide x 7" high decorative beam. The crown is 2-5/8" high.
Beaded board could produce a similar approach. The spacing between the decorative beams was around 5' which felt appropriate proportionately for the room. They can be created with rough 2 x 6 or 8s with applied 1x with or without a beaded edge and a small crown to finish it off. Let us know if you

length and wi'dth....I'm trying to envision our space the we are building and I hope to be able to put a table for 8 or 10 just like in this picture. Our layout is 44' X 16' and it opens wider in the dining space
Are these 8' or 9' ceilings?
I think between 8-12 feet is good for that size. Eye level tv mounts work great for the neck and back !

Thank you for replying. I didn't think an 8' ceiling would work but it sure does!
The ceiling height is 8ft. (8'-5" including coffers), and each coffer is 5' wide and 5" high. The coffers added such a unique element to the space!

That sounds luxurious. I don't think I've ever seen a lamb rug. I wish I could feel it; I bet it feels good under your feet! It looks about 5' X 8'. Could you give me an idea of how much it would cost? It is beautiful. Thank you!
