Can beams be added to the breakfast room like this? They would obviously just be facade beams I don't see why not!

Questions1
Audry Hall Photography Fused Glass tile by Chrissy Evans
Is the wall behind the fireplace made of concrete and glass? Does it radiate heat after it has been heated by the fireplace?
The wall behind the fireplace is composed of custom concrete and fused glass tiles. The concrete tiles, especially the thicker ones, do heat up and re-radiate over time. The glass tiles are thin enough that they probably don't store much heat.

Thanks! I checked my BM fan deck and Glass Slipper looks grey but in this picture, it looks blue. Anyway, a very nice colour and one I might adopt for my main floor.

This wall color is Glass Slipper by Benjamin Moore.
The actual room color is Glass Slipper by Benjamin Moore, the wood paneling & moldings are painted in Dove White by Benjamin Moore, & the wood doors are stained.

... doesn't the glass window destroy the acoustics of the room?
this is the piece of glass I have in mind for an entry room. Only I imagine the room with that glass being the whole wall...so the room itself would be smaller. plain gable
Kinda like the unbroken expanse of glass. Less busy than french doors & mullions.
