I have a 78 inch space and trying to decide how to install 24 inch tile. Would it look best to cut 4 down
on the tile. Stacked pattern is less forgiving than brick pattern when you have cuts involved. I try to design width of fire box to width of tile when doing

Cool idea about decreasing size of tiles going up. I found a limestone called lagos blue and looking at yours it
paper until you get a pleasing layout. The tiles are cut from slab or molded in concrete.
The height of the tiles is dependent on the height of your fireplace
