fabric are the drapes made of and how are they affixed?
Can you tell me what color "white" that is on the wall? I'm having a horrible time picking out a white paint for my mid century modern remodel and I love how this paint looks with the fireplace
how west lawn may appear with retaining terraced look
love how open it is to the outside, interesting textures
Love the way the outdoors and indoors blend so seamlessly here. Especially like how the privacy fence and fireplace tie together so nicely.

How was the moulding on the ceiling onstructed? What is it made of?
Some of the cabinet doors are clear American walnut, while other doors and the alcohol-burning fireplace surround are flame-finish mild steel with a paste wax finish.

How do you hook up your cable box up to your TV?
we will be installing our TV over the fireplace, only I'm not sure how to hook up our cable boxes and DVD player to the TV! HELP!
I like how the TV is built into the wall instead of hanging out
Speakers reminded me to include the black vented fabric on some cabinets for audio equipment. And glass doors for receivers/remote control equipment.

How it works with busy carpet
Love how it is common to have a wall of crosses, or crosses throughout the house!
I like the use of deep reds and how it warms up the room yet it still feels elegant
to loved ones. Just like you have to find the strength to be curt, mastering the art of rejecting advice from the people you care about is key. Watch how it’s done. “Hi, Mom! Good to hear from you. What’s that? I should install blue carpet like we had in our kids’ rooms growing up? Ha! That’s a great idea
shark-filled water in the living room when guests are over. I’ll keep that in mind. Anyway, I’ve got to go. Thanks for the suggestion. Love you! Bye.” See how easy that is? The last thing you want is to be stuck with something you hate just because you wanted to please somebody else. Take it from marthafish:
