want a sun room off the back of the house to look like this
This is such a natural beauty that blends with the surrounding naturally giving the occupants the best of either worlds - the out and the indoors.
I love the classy look of this French door
This all wood look complete's any cottage! With that type of view, you don't want anything in your way!
Windows looking on to back yard
Another choice is to create a wall of windows that looks out onto a large tree. Of course, this only works if you already have a large tree in your yard. If you don't, consider planting one to enjoy in the future!
brick? Two walls! Paneling? Eight rooms and seven styles! Volcanic-looking rock? Going all the way up the stairs! I knew it was a nightmare, but I saw all the possibilities. I knew we could sand ceilings and paint paneling and rip out the carpet as well as the faux everything. And we did. We went room
I have been looking all over web for drapes like this. Love'em! Where did you get them?
check out http://www.houzz.com/pro/marthaandash/martha-and-ash or marthaandash.com. The skky is the limit on striped drape color combinations and scale. Thanks guys!

I want my life to look like this.
What do you like about this photo? Looking for ideas for my family room. It's black & white
These curtains have 6 (not 8) grommets. That's likely enough for ours. Like the modern lines and look of the hardware.
Love a black-and-white and neutral palette? The cowhide look on this upholstered chair brings an element of rawness to the chic space without a hair looking out of place.
Living Room and Kitchen - Williamsburg Renovation
This is what I am looking for, TIA!
They sell this sofa or very similiar one at Macy's. I know because I work there and look at it everyday! :)
cutting out forms and letters from plywood and painting can be really cool and
sofa looks like shale sofa from amart
The kitchen embraces the bay window looking out over the park across the street. "When you sit at the kitchen table, you can hear the kids playing across the street — a pretty unusual thing for New York," says Zames.
This view looks from the seating area toward the dining area, which features built-in

Find a corner that is wide, tall and deep enough for your piano. Add a few other elements to complete the look and it won't stand out. Choose elements that make it feel airy like a large mirror over it and a lamp with a reflective base.
coming end of july. very complicated as it is stuck in my sister's inlaws storage shed and they are being difficult about letting her in to get stuff out. hopefully will have exact measurements in a few weeks.
don't have picture of actual piano but it looks somewhat like this, maybe a little taller. will need a bench ***Do you have an update re: when piano will be arriving? Should we decorate around it
genius. If you own a piano, sometimes it can be tricky figuring out where to put it — especially if it is not played very often. Using it in place of a console table is such a surprising twist. A lamp and a mirror dress it up so it doesn't look out of place. If your old home needs a facelift, the entryway is

needs to relate to human scale, not the structure’s scale. If you’re not sure, take a picture. It’s remarkable how much a photo can reveal. Print it out or use Photoshop or an app to draw on the photo. This can give you a sense of whether a larger or smaller piece of art is needed or a tall plant might
don’t have to visit the most-talked about gallery for that feature painting – there are many pop-up galleries supporting new and emerging artists. Look out for art markets, festivals or open studios to discover a new artist who will be only too delighted to be ‘discovered’ by you.

there’s virtually no art in the house. “I don’t want to distract the eye,” he says. “I’d rather have people looking out. A lot of people come here from London, and to come to the country and not look at the view seems bizarre.”

this to be effective, the rest of the room needs to be immaculate – think crisp, white walls and pristine furniture – otherwise there is a risk it will look like you never got round to finishing the decorating…
Did anyone find out where the coffee table came from?
Ron and I both like this. Ron thinks the color doesn't looks more "adobe like" than regular beige. Looks cozy and livable. We both like the beams though I'm not sure I love the color of the wood they used for the beam. I also like the table. It looks like you could put your feet on it and not mess it up
This search will take some patience; if you strike out, just keep checking sites each week until the perfect jumbo globe lands in your lap. If you have your own antiques show pickers, put them on alert to look out for large globes.
