I am in Fort Worth and we are trying to decide on tile vs. wood for 1,800 sq ft carpeting replacement. My concern about tile is the shifting of the ground and the tile cracking. Did the installer use an isolation membrane under this tile floor? Thank you

Hi Martha, thanks for replying. I absolutely love your work. What do you recommend for the finish on the paint? My contractor has recommended flat for the wall, flat for the ceiling and semi gloss for the trim. Would that be your approach? Thanks! Frances
