This year-round house sits on a rocky shoulder of a New England cove. The house is oriented East to West, allowing a procession of rooms to gradually culminate in the spectacular ocean view to the East. The dramatic siting of the house against the water’s edge recalls a ship’s prow jutting into the

Makes me think of removing the window seat from the room in order to have a better place for the couch
The arrangement. Room is similar layout to FL house

this room, and here it is the element that brings the design to the next level.
Even when you have a very large room like this
without being against a wall, pull your pieces of furniture forward around the coffee table to allow people to converse comfortably. It will make the room feel more intimate.

color paint used on the walls please in the living & dining room?
Love the wall paper in the dining room.
It's actually a home office, but it was not in presentable condition for the photo, so we darkened it. (:
Colors and patterns of chairs work well together. Don't like rest of room.

side of the room. This room makes me feel peaceful.
Asymmetricial balance This photo represents asymmetricial balance since instead of having a couch both sides there is two chairs. This room gives off a serious mood because looking at this picture I feel like its a therapist office.
Same room as pic above it, but different angle. Looks just as good from this angle. Still not feeling the tables, nor the lamps.
This simple yet elegant room feels
each side, one window, different furniture in the room
This room is asymmetrical balance because the room is not the same on both sides but is still equal balance
This room is asymmetrical. Even though one side has two chairs and the other side has one big sofa, the furniture is still balanced.
