change the contents of the room, but I like the structure.
Carpet quite a good idea to break up the floor
The height of the lamps work nicely with the couch.
I love the color scheme of beige and white complemented by the expresso/dark wood. The accesorizing is also very tasteful, functional and minimal. Love the feel of the room when I look at this picture.
great arrangement of furniture around the fireplace and also very inviting.
comfort and layout of the space

the small space to watch tv--our space at river house is plenty!

responds to the adjacent structures in height and setback, while adding new textures with a custom rain screen façade in colors that draw their tones from the traditional bricks of the neighborhood. The home is organized around a courtyard, a private destination apart from the busy urban surroundings. The
scale of the courtyard is reduced by stepping the building down to a one-story wing containing the living room and master bedroom, with an overhead door to allow for a dynamic indoor/outdoor relationship.

changes to the footprint, this previously dark, disorganized 1950s suburban home was redesigned to blur the boundary between indoor living and the landscape beyond. A composition of enlongated colored boxes and planar elements organizes and enlivens the house. Circulation and living spaces occupy the resulting
one from the arrival point through the house to the living spaces and the wooded site beyond. A bold linear concrete wall links a new garage and studio, forming an entry court that simultaneously welcomes visitors and screens the private bedroom spaces nearby. Teak plywood cabinets, blackened steel, and
connected to the land and responsive to the needs of a young family.
i love the design of the home

i love the fixture -- can you provide a source?
Hi- I love the ceiling fixture. Where is it from? Thanks!
Like the white sofa and the way the art is displayed
Pictures above the couch look phenominal--would look great with color behind it.
Love the pictures on the wall
I like the light fixture and the pictures on the wall
I Love the collection of paintings, especially the colors
just feels good. Would have the pink frames in black or brown
I like the look. The way the pictures are hung though is a little off.
think the latter was definitely the way to go.
Get playful in a casual living space by creating a loosely arranged focal point on an architecturally defunct wall. Skip the popular grid arrangement and hang frames at random. This gives you the freedom to add more art on a whim.

Terraced into the hillside and overlooking the valley and vineyards below, the grounds are handsomely landscaped and feature a vanishing edge pool. A separate barn with a copper roof doubles as an office space.
color is the paint on the walls?
what sizes are the beams? specifically the center beam?
anyone know the actual wall color?
The way the dining room leads into the living room.
I like the beams and ceiling as an idea for the game room
minus the horizontal strips of wood along vault
I like the floors and the rock. The sofa is great. I am building a guest house and I want it to be cozy and nice!
don't particularly like the cross beams on the wall, but like connectivity and ones in open space
the wall color, floor color and beams, simiiar to our house

likeing the ceiling lights and dark molding. even like the ceiling dark in the siting area. kinda neat take away the bar though
look for the back of my bar. Add tv in the middle.
I like how the columns and painted ceiling "separate" the theater from the rest
I like the wet bar and hope to put one in like it.
really cool not sure we will have the room
Like the idea of pillars to break the openness
I want the kitchen up against a wall or in a space of it's own.
like the darker ceiling and lighter floor
I like the columns and small soffits which separate spaces in an open concept floor plan.

Love the counter stools - where did you purchase them?
Of what type of material is the fireplace surround made?
I like the ceiling light very much. Where did you purchase it?
that's the Portobello Road Drum Pendant by Fine Art Lamps: http://www.lumens.com/Portobello-Road-Drum-Pendant-by-Fine-Art-Lamps/uu310689/product -Nissa
inconspicuous. painting over top. nice lighting above?
liked the way bar top is supported
old stone feel for the surround
simple but the LCD would be above the fireplace
keeping the room from feeling too busy. If your eyes aren't resting on the flat screen television, they are beholding the beauty of the painting over the fireplace.
