Light floors and touch of red
minimize the wall area that faces the adjacent houses, improving their exposure to natural light and open views. Open floor plans borrow light between spaces and to maximize the potential to see through the house to the landscape and sky beyond.

in its light-filled, main floor living spaces, as well as in its lower level bedrooms.
you have recesses for shutters or curtains behind the bookcase depth?
brick walls which are at least 10 inches (250mm) thick and this would not require any false backing. The depth of the reveal as depicted would be correct as such a window is mounted on the exterior brickwork. This mean with the depth shown the shelve would approx 8-10 inches deep.
Notice light up above - would be good for reading in the evening.
