Yes these are mini-split systems that both heat and cool. There is a unit opposite the one you see in the bedroom. Note these are the blower units - there is a compressor unit on the exterior of the house that is roughly twice the size of the blower and serves both.
could reverse this idea and put bedroom first with french doors into sewing room

frame. Now we are looking to do 3/4 mdf. We are nervous that these hinges (I ordered the same ones you used) will not support this size door and that it may split the mdf. Is your lid smaller? Thanks for your help and for uploading pictures of your beautiful projects.
What style hinges are these, i've tried regular door hinges but the back of the plywood rubs?
Thank you sooo much! We completed the job yesterday. Ended up using a piano hinge as the door is so heavy due to its size. The contractor didn't feel the other hinges I had ordered would support the door. He kept the plywood top that "outlines" the lid and filled it with wood filler to make it
