Concrete Floored Abode - a cabin on Lake Wenatchee
HI - I like the stone you used for the fireplace? Is it a veneer and if so,could you tell me the brand and color? I have a brick fireplace and I am looking to cover it with stone. Thanks, Brad
What is the name\color/manufacturer of the stone on the fireplace?
The fireplace is actually quarried stone, averaging about 5 inches in thickness. The pattern is 50% squares and rectangles with the other 50% being ledge stone from the same quarry. There are also 6 larger rocks, which the owner personally selected, that the stone mason then worked into the design.
your question. The stone was Chief Cliff from Montana.
thanks for your response. do you happen to have the contact info for the stone mason you used?

How did you get the mantle to match the stone on the wall?
The wires are hidden in the wall before the stone is installed. The cable box is elsewhere - the house has wireless internet connection, so all is wifi.
Clean stone look. Notice tv on rock above fireplace
love the stone on the fireplace - colour, shape and texture. gorgeous beams - nice corbeils
the ceiling, as in the room here, it reduces the perceived distance. Gravity is at play here, too. The dark color works well because the substantial stone fireplace appears as though it could bear the weight.

Natural stone and reclaimed timber beams...
Please describe the hearth. Is there piece of wood on stone?
Is the fireplace made of stone or a manmade product? Can you provide measurements of fireplace and measurement of stone on each side of it?
What is the stone you used on the fireplace?
Would you please tell me -what is this beautiful stone that was used for this fireplace ?
What is the stone used on the fireplace?!
It is a natural stone called "Rico Chopped." This project was completed a couple years ago, so I do not recall the measurements. Thanks, and good luck!
work if you add some accent pillows with brown, black and cream.. to tie the two pieces together. The reason this room works so well is that the stone pulls all the color tones in the room and the cream lightens it up and keep it from being too dark. The rug also mimics the lighter tone and makes
