For this catalog, bringing our furniture and accents to life meant taking them offsite and inside some of SoCal’s most breathtaking estates. Part of our adventure was spent in the gorgeous and historic neighborhood of Hancock Park, where architecturally rich residences abound. Jeff captures the LA enclave’s old world glamour by outfitting this interior with mirrored pieces, bold motifs and seats modeled after European antiques.

Stunning Living Room embracing the dark colours on the walls which is Inchyra Blue by Farrow and Ball. A retreat from the open plan kitchen/diner/snug that provides an evening escape for the adults. Teal and Coral Pinks were used as accents as well as warm brass metals to keep the space inviting and cosy.

Garden Sun Room Aurbach Mansion: This room was restored for a designer show house. We had hand painted murals done for the walls by William "Bill" Riley (rileycreative1@mac.com). They depict walking paths in a wondrous sculpture garden with flowers lining your every step. The champagne metallic molding was added at the top to increase the feeling of intimacy. The Ralph Lauren midnight blue ceiling helped to create a cozy space day or night. There are verde marble floors throughout. The ottoman is Mackenzie Childs. Antique pillows from The Martin Group. We loved staging this room. We expected a white room, but when we walked in, we saw this accent wall color. By adding black and white wall art pieces, we managed to pull it off. These are real MCM furniture pieces and they fit into this new remodel beautifully.

Part of the couple's draw to an eclectic style was based on the premise of each getting what they wanted out of the space. Although it may have initially posed a challenge to integrate Chelsea and Kiel's personal styles, the living room combines the two in perfect harmony. "Kiel tends to gravitate toward more masculine, rustic, and industrial pieces while I like more bright, colorful and whimsical pieces", states Chelsea. The mid-century chair and ottoman were found at a garage sale for $5 and reupholstered by Kiel's mother. Unassuming doses of color and pattern lend a light-hearted quality to the grouping. Entering in through the living room, the Mohrman's creative nature is immediately evident. A neutral grey sectional acts as a springboard for the bright patterns of Chelsea's handmade pillows and lampshades. "We enjoy easy decorating with budget friendly items or fun DIYs", explains Chelsea, whom offers instruction on many of her crafting projects on her blog, Farm Fresh Therapy. The couple search antique malls and flea markets for the majority of their decor, often times adapting them to a new purpose. The illuminated "M" for example, was an internet find.
