Hello cabungalow. Thank you for the interest in the lamps features in this photo. While the photo may be deceiving, these are actually larger scale table lamps and were custom made from old stair railings and topped with a parchment shade
the plant to the left of the fireplace is balanced by the one on the coffee table. Together, they introduce a jolt of color to a primarily beige interior. The texture of the finishes and the deep green make this room interesting and inviting.
fireplace for cozy winter nights. Instead of adding color, choose one with fun texture. I dig the funky material on these.See the rest of this pool house

Jeff, Do you know exactly what type of custom gray white wash was used? I would like to try it on my floor.
very nice open space, great windows brings the outdoors in. Also, if kitchen is to left of photo, that would be a great way to be part of all the action in the house
windows of the main living spaces on the southern side of the house, allowing plenty of light to warm the space. The passive solar heat generated by the southern exposure helps keep the house warm in the cold winter months. In the summer, the house stays cool in the shade of trees surrounding the property

repaint the rooms. Currently its all white and popcorn ceiling. we are going to remove popcorn and paint walls one color and paint the ceiling a lighter shade of the walls. But I m a bit lost on what to do with that border treat it like crown molding and paint it white to separate out the wall and ceiling
Greetings and thank you for taking the time to field my question. I have a living room/dining room built in the 40's. The house has popcorn ceiling and some sort of "built in" crown molding, not your typical molding. its a lowered "lip" about a foot in width that goes all around
Ceiling is Restoration Hardware "Linen" and the trim is Ace Hardware "White Mosaic" .
The room is 327" x 158". Keep in mind, there is an entry door and another sitting area, which you will see in other photos in this album.
