most of us. Easily washed down, mopped surfaces will do the trick. Vinyl tile, linoleum and even hardwood are better options than carpet. One of my favorite flooring materials is cork as it’s easy to keep clean and the tiles are easily replaced if damaged. Another option, if the space is in the basement
collectibles. The rest of the house is done in a Venetian style, so he wanted something that was more his speed. The African-chic aesthetic features bamboo walls and animal prints for a summery feel.

Where did you buy the tile from? I have been looking for this kind for a while..
This is travertine tile. We used 18x18 with matching Versailles. Travertine is a great natural stone that comes in lots of color patterns. Great for a variety of project needs!
What kind of tile is this? Beautiful!

Just reading Becky Harris's story on this reformed basement, and I think it's absolutely brilliant. She mentions that the flooring is "ceramic tile floor with a stone look." Any chance you could be more specific - brand, manufacturer, etc?
Ceramic tiles - Pros: it's durable if it's expensive, there are lots of types of ceramic tiles and each gives a different feeling to the room. - Cons: hard to install, less durable if cheap. - You can find ceramic tile floorings
The homeowner is an interior designer, so she had a lot of the materials and finishes picked out before construction began. A ceramic tile floor with a stone look, a French country–style dining table and chairs, and a chandelier fashioned from green wine bottles add to the South European wine cellar

I love the soffit around the ceiling. Does this cover the electrical? I have a situation where the electrical in my basement runs just below the old drop ceiling line. I want to raise the ceiling and have it dry walled. Would it work to soffit around
around the electrical and dry wall that as well? Would this be better than angling a wide crown molding to cover the electrical? I want it to look nice but will be selling within 2 years and don't want to spend more than needed. Thank you!
tile floor in basement-nice look-use area rugs
openings, neutral colored walls, large floor tiles, and furniture that looks like it's been weathered by the sun make this Michigan wine cellar look like it belongs in the Mediterranean.
