Merrick, Im doing a similar backsplash tile above granite counter & wood vanity in the powder room. I cannot tell from this picture but wondering if you turned the corner and did the left side wall over the counter there too, so both sides of the vanity have the backsplash, or just that back wall below the
is a personal preference and usually only done when the counter is very small and there will be a lot of splashing i.e. kids bathroom. You can also turn the liner (blue liner on top) down on each end of the backsplash to finish off the sides. Hope this helps! Best, Stephanie with Bella Villa Design
