This flower bed arrangement is so beautiful. I would love to create flower bed like this. Could you tell me what are the tall red plants in the back, and the smaller plants in the front. Love the layering effect. My home is in So Cal. Thanks for your assistants

know the roots do attach to wood, brick, or stucco. I planted one on a fence that adjoins the house and runners attach to the house but if not connected there should be no problem. The roots and runners do get to 1 inch in diameter.

will keep weed growth down, nothing is foolproof. You will need to periodically remove unwanted plant material. The secret is to do it before things get out of control.

I like the use of one plant in a mass. however, the hydrangeas will not work in full sun.
