Outdoor umbrellas are outdoor problem solvers.

An outdoor umbrella is definitely an essential and beneficial addition to your backyard or deck. Not only does an umbrella solve a logistical problem of preventing overheating or sun damage, but they also work wonders for elevating and finishing the design of an outdoor deck or patio. They’re also great for shade and creating a gathering space for meals outside.

Different styles of outdoor umbrellas for different spaces.

If you want very little sun exposure, you will need to find one that utilizes heavy grade outdoor fabric to ensure no light sneaks past. For those that are more decorative, a lighter fabric will do. In the end, you still want something that is waterproof and able to withstand the outdoor elements — unless you want to bring it indoors after every use.
