Desiring a whimsical French Country style with a twist, we used playful yet sophisticated colors. A creamy, whipped butter, color was paired with a burnt orange to create contrast and interest. To create the feeling of the old world , I hand painted a lemon tree close to the French door leading to the rest of the home. The walls where treated with plaster, some areas heavier than others and color washed with earth tones natural pigments.
