length between stovetop and wall on the sides
how many inches between the stovetop and the wall... on each side of the stovetop?
What wood are the cabinets and island? Also what stain color was used? Gorgeous kitchen!

There were 24" on each side of the cooktop. Hope that helps. :)
You might have them do a sample with an additional coat of stain and see if that gets you the shade you want. Stains are really hard because every wood is different and even the weather on the day you stain can affect the outcome. Hope it all works out for you.
They are wrapped in solid pine (wood). Any lumber supplier (we use ProBuild here in Texas) should have them. I recommend professional installation (as these are very heavy), and a good

The backyard is centered around a central patio space and a pool along with a linear arbor structure built out of reclaimed wood timbers. Although used minimally on this project, a cool and refreshing lawn area was incorporated into the backyard space.

I like the charm. I would add the garage to the first floor and put a rooftop patio on top, instead of the ceramic shingles. Pull some modern element into the architecture
I like carriage style, but this is too clean. I want a rougher wood look
shutters fit your window size? If your home's facade is bumming you out, check out your shutters. Are they smaller than your windows? Nailed to the siding? Shutters were made to cover windows and hang on hinges. Find a form that follows this function (or make them at least appear to be functional) and

Do they just open or do they slide back into the sides. If back in how did you mount the TV forward enough given the depth.
your information. The floors look beautiful and timeless. Also the old wooden doors are so interesting. I never would have thought of adding to the sides. Thank you, for the idea in case I find a treasure like these one day. :-)
bought the doors from a junk/antique dealer in Tripolis, Greece. They were originally old built in cabinet doors and I had my carpenter add to the sides and top in order to fit them into the space which hides the TV etc.
