but I think ours are too low for a wood application. This layout looks similar to our kitchen with the short cabinets. We have an enclosed header above the cabinets. Our kitchen faces north with a big window but still pretty dark in the winter, and would love to add skylights and wood ceiling.
The flooring is terrazzo. It is poured in place then ground and polished to form a monolithic floor.
