What are the best woods or flooring to use over radiant flooring? Solid wood vs. engineered, tile, carpeting in bedrooms? We have recently gutted a ranch that will be entirely heated under floor.

Tile is #1. You can get tile that looks like wood. Below are a couple of examples, the first is by Porcelanosa and the second is by Ricchetti Collezioni Ceramiche. Note that tile is more costly than wood. http://www.houzz.com/photos/5

I have watched the mosture membrane install vidio for a wet room. Where would you install a cable heat system, under the membrane or over.
What brand is the showerhead? How much does it cost? How do you like it? Enough pressure?

floor which has drain pipes in. we are building my husband and myself a small sudio flat ,so since it is a new build we can't put an electric water heater. we have to get a heat pump and the water lines put in. yes I get help from DSA/DSQ as I live in Qld. plumbing is the only thing holding us up.$$$$$$.

Insulated pipes will help prevent burst pipes in winter — and the floods that go along with them. Can lights are another notorious place for losing heat, says Fry, so be sure they are properly insulated.
