Is the wall-mounted buffet an original design by the architect? built by contractor or local carpenter? I have been looking for a wall-mounted buffet for our recently remodeled mid-century modern home in Potomac, MD. Where/how can I get this?
Yes, it is a design by Hammer Architects, built by a local cabinet maker.
You can have a local carpenter fabricate a similar piece for you - or you could use standard kitchen wall cabinets to achieve a similar effect by mounting them low and having a shallow countertop fitted to them.
