Lake Forest Park Renovation
I really like the weathered steel wall panels being offset with the horizontal banding. Were they fabricated into large panels for installation or attached singly in bands with an adhesive?
and varied in length. Some panels were flat and some panels were "L" shaped since the wall steps in and out. It was a very technically demanding installation, and the tolerance for each panel was only 1/64". See attached photo. -- Nils Finne AIA http://www.houzz.com/photos/1579021/Lake-Forest-Park-Re

at the larger scale of the property existed a desire to soften and deepen the engagement between the house and the street frontage. as such, the landscaping palette consisted of textures chosen for subtlety and granularity. spaces were layered by way of planting, diaphonous fencing and lighting. the interior

possible to install mirrors without glue?
When we moved our Pilates studio we had pros remove our continuous mirrors. What a mess the glue left behind! We spent hours repairing the wall of our leased space. We have moved into our new also leased space and are looking for ways to install the mirrors
mirrors without wall damaging glue. We've considered framing them on plywood with nice molding. Any way to install them continuously, again without adhesive?

my experience with installation of the flos all light was decidedly different. i installed my fixture outdoors. as you can see in the attached photos, the polycarbonate surfaces that were exposed to sunlight turned amber in less than 1 year. the make matters worse, when i sought a replacement from flos
and installed a different one. the lesson that i learned the hard way is that any time you see a polycarbonate fixture being promoted for outdoor use, be sure to check to make sure that the polycarbonate has been UV stabilized to resist yellowing when exposed to sunlight. since you have installed the

Aside from the benefits, a system like this makes a lot of sense to do sooner rather than later — it would be a major hassle to install underfloor heating once you’ve settled into your home.Save on features that can be easily replaced.
