What kind of floors are these?
The floors are white oak, plain sawn, 5” boards. Finish is a custom gray ceruse stain.
The floors are plain sawn white oak with a cerused grey finish over blue stain.
The beams are rough-sawn fir, painted Benjamin Moore Full Moon 2119-70. Floor are 6" White Oak, stain is blued/white

It is not uncommon for stained concrete floors to have a gloss or semi-gloss finish. Just depends on final sealer top coat
We had our floors stained and love it. It's no colder then ceramic tile. We do have and area area rug in front of the sofa and a runner when you first come into the house. I mop it with mop and glow and it looks really nice. My understanding is that the stain lasts for several years. I
what type of floors are these?
This is a hardwood floor. It may be original to when the building was built [circa 1850], or at least it's very old, which is why it has the roughness and patina you see in the photo.

I think you are on point with your assesment. White Oak is preferred for dark stains.

Red or White Oak site finished with a medium gloss would be my guess :-)
Neat floor...might look nice with one of those fireplaces in the middle of a room you can walk around or a fireplace that was between two adjoining rooms
