Is the railing a system we can purchase?
Kacel, I believe this railing is original to the home. (1950s).
Here is a great deck rail idea.
Wood on top of concrete, and on each step. Bars for guard from outside
into the foyer of the house. I also like the metal stair risers w/natural wood treads and the minimal hand-railing. Spacing on the verticals would not meet code.

could you tell me they type of wood and stain on the floors? Thank you!
say I like the different handrail on the wall. I think it might look a little cluttered in this minimal decor if the larger wood handrail was on both sides. This way, the larger rail becomes more of an accent, which I love.

could do a cement wall over by the retaining wall instead of wood decking, or more cement along the patio on the back side, maybe step it down towards the woods
contrast wit ipe wood and blue stone
before breaking ground. Use pressure-treated wood or a composite material for durability and low maintenance, but be aware that composite material can easily triple your materials cost up front. Composite decks are organic looking just by virtue of the wood tone and grain, and are a great option for those

Wide open...simple...different. And I love all the wood.
stone with wood and pee-a-boo cabinets
different vein, these glass cabinets are all about bringing different texture and shape to the doors that contrast with the strong grain pattern of the wood. By keeping all the dishes white inside the cabinets, it keeps the entire look from being too busy.
