This is actually a vacation bedroom for three teenage girls in New York, but it could work for anyone. Notice the daybed on the right? Room for one more overnight guest!
This room has three beds in it, and each bed has an Eames screen beneath it so that the girls can grab a little privacy from each other.
The stool moves around the room depending on who needs it; the daybed on the right of the photo is

I'm doing the same wall in my daughters room and I can't seem to find a good match to the wall color. What color is that? And where was it purchased
i like how thier is a pool right out side the room.
just the concept - girls rooms
A bright pink accent wall in a white room would be cute for a girl. Softer pink, maybe, for a little girl.
One hot pink wall in Jessie's room
said to represent the young Japanese warriors who fell in battle in the prime of life. The soft grays used to tone down the hot pink here prevent the room from feeling overly feminine.

How do you come about finding furniture pieces, artwork, etc. then put them together? I'm using this photo to decorate my apartment and need some clear objectives. Thank you for being creative and sharing with the class! -Monessa
add some smaller accent pieces to bring those colors onto other parts of the room. All in all, you will end up with a design that is eclectic, but balanced - just like the room above. Below are some other examples of rooms we love, for the same reasons... For more great ideas check out our Ideabooks:
We love this room too, Monessa! This room is so wonderful because it's light, bright, and playful...and they weren't afraid to mix things up. None of the bigger pieces really "match"

This powder room is part of the conversion of a wine room in the garage. That room was remodeled and rebuilt into a laundry room and a powder room. Dubbed "the disco bathroom" its fuchsia and silver wall covering has outlines of rainbows, stars, private airplanes and muscle cars. Bruce Damonte Photography
Fun closet or girls bathroom paper
Put up shiny wallpaper in a tiny powder room. As far as big-impact changes go, you can’t get much bigger than this
pocket-size powder room. Won’t your guests be surprised when they open the door?
Wallpaper in a powder room. This is a little much for my personal styling, but do like the idea of going bold in a small space
dollyIt’s often said that the smallest room in the house is where we should let rip with wild colours and flamboyant patterns, and this sensational cloakroom proves this decorating theory is spot-on. The Barbie pink-and-silver paper hung top-to-toe in a bedroom or living room would be seriously overpowering

Ample glass promotes a tree-house-like environment in the main bedroom. While part of the original floor plan, this room gained extra square footage during the home's 1968 expansion. "If you notice the concrete pillars," Bobbie points out, "you can see that that is where the original wall once was."
