who is manufacturer of the windows?
How did you trim out the window reveal? Did you use the Ezyreveal product ?
I think it's 1/2 aluminum fry riglet...the sill piece is 1x stained quarter sawn oak.
on what someone wants from the window and it's view......If I had a beautiful view like that I'd find a way not to lose the view & achieve whatever level of privacy I wanted. Hate to give up the view. Someone I knew (while living in FL) told me they had their windows tinted on the outside such that
Agree, love the room and the windows. Any info on who the manufacturer is?

Boerum Hill House, Brooklyn
My bedroom has a sloped ceiling over the windows ( 8 to 11 feet high ceiling - windows 6 feet wide by 4 ft high). Can't find any way to dress the windows that does not make the rod look as if it's hung on a slant.
Where did you purchase the slim silhouette window trim?
remove the trim as there will be a gap between the window casing the sheetrock.
I'd also be interested in how you achieved this look. I have a '90s townhouse that I am renovating and it has hideous skinny honey oak trim around the windows, but the window casing itself is a lovely high quality wood. I'm

Intersecting volumes of grey brick and cypress wood rain screen define the house. Zinc cladding and trim is used on both volumes to unify the composition. Together these three materials give the house a deep, rich palette that is both approachable and awe inspiring. Photo by Jack Thompson Photography

What type (and color) paver would complement this brick?
Our home has the same brick and we are in the process of updating our front veranda
and walkway and I'm having a difficult time time deciding what type of paver or natural stone I should go with as I don't want it to look busy. Our windows/door and metal trim are painted in Farrow and Ball's Tanner's Brown. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My house was also built in the 1920s. I have brick walls and they are crumbling a bit. I'm not sure if a power washing wouldn't crumble them further. Would a thin mortar layer and seal then paint work
Where can I buy the window apron?
I understand that the window apron is custom how is it made
It was done for several reasons. First, it functionally provided a flat shelf at window (current sill was sloped) for books/artwork. Second, it provided warmth to a cool wall/area by use of stained wood. Lastly, it created an interesting element
Yes, the floor is painted/stained concrete (existing) with rugs. According to the windows, we installed what I call a "sill apron" made of stained birch plywood on wood blocking allowing it to float from wall.
