“What is the process to paint the ceiling?”
“ceiling was painted. Then, a piece of painted 3/4" plywood was cut to fit between floor joists to form a square shape. It was secured with the proper size hole cut out to fit around can light housing. The can light in the photo has a wall wash type trim ring to reflect light onto adjacent concrete walls.”
“floor is painted/stained concrete (existing) with rugs. According to the windows, we installed what I call a "sill apron" made of stained birch plywood on wood blocking allowing it to float from wall.”
