chandelier, a chenille white vein cut limestone travertine fireplace and the original hardwood floor which is over 80 years old and not replicable today. The chair is the Charles Eames' 50 year old lounge chair and ottoman. The fireplace mantle is cut from Silk Georgette stone, a type of grey marble.
Is the fireplace stone from one slab or is the stone cut into tile and grouted?
If cut into tile, what are the measurements of the tile?

The flooring is limestone tile from Dal-Tile. The product is L191 - Honed Chenille White Vein-Cut.

actually a limestone tile from Dal-Tile. It looks like wood because it is cut along with the vein in a 6"x36" tile plank. The color is Chenille White Vein-Cut L191 Honed and polished at installation. It is from Da-Tile's Natural Stone Collection.

Love the house, what was the stone that was used?
What type of stone was used and size? How was if fix to the structure?
The exterior stone is a flamed face Bluestone that was quarried out of Vermont specifically for this house.

We set our slabs 2.5" lower to accomodate for stone so that we can set into a mud base. You can thin set stone, it is not recommended because the stone could crack over time from foundation settling etc...
