I like the scale of this desk, I have a cool design in mind where the face and entire bench would read as a huge old beam, but have drawers.

first bar, with the open frame in the distance. This south face has a bit of an overhang to cut down on the high sun. The expansive glass capitalizes on views toward the city — views that the clients weren't aware of at first and now especially like at night.

2012, designed by Phil Kean Designs. Phantom`s Executive motorized screens were installed on the home to provide shade and insect protection - the screens stay out of sight when not in use (you can just see the recessed tracks on the columns - the screens are tucked away in the structure).
