1. Create a center axis. Most of this garden’s design consists of asymmetrical elements. A linear span of grass and pavers creates a central axis, intersected by a narrow pool of water. The pavers’ pattern looks symmetrical around this centerline
This most modern of gardens must be the epitome of viewing gardens. Both the design and the planting scheme create a combined picture that can be seen on many levels. The patterns cut in the lawn serve no purpose other than the visual impact they make and the interest and pleasure they give the viewer

What about frosted "glass" for pocket garden? Might soften the look from street AND let much needed light into pocket garden and hence MBR
Perennials can be a popular choice for a low edging plant. Their fresh seasonal foliage and flowers overcome the landscape situation of many species' dying back over winter. This Euphorbia martini, with its acid-green flowers, creates not only an informal edging but also a great knee-high barrier to deter animals
2. Drama queensKangaroo-paw (Anigozanthos) is probably one of the most well-known and striking flowers native to Australia. It’s a short-lived perennial that normally only lasts about three seasons, but its dramatic blooms and drought tolerance make

Why flowers. Don't you think that's kind of redundant? Just saying, I'm really confused. Someone explain.
Like I said, why flowers. That's just something you don't do with a specific design such as this, even the chairs
Think the flowers are a refreshing touch to bring some colour into the room, and probably the only items not from IKEA!! Otherwise a real nice design ;)
Wow. Those flowers are really causing a ruckus. If you really should know the flowers were displayed in this fashion for a photo shoot only. A
A local Flower Boutique store was asked to display flowers at their discretion and so they had a bit of fun with it. That's all :) :: thirdstone inc. [^]

Modern Landscape
We are having our yard landscaped next week and I worked with a designer who works with the Denver Botanic Gardens and she recommended Sunset Glow Bamboo which can tolerate to -15 degrees. We are going to give it a try as a privacy screen between us and our neighbors. Fingers crossed@
like the raised wood flower bed
Clumping bamboo does not require containment and flourishes in a wide variety of situations in a small garden. Tip: Fargesia bamboo is one of the best clumping bamboo species for the small garden and fares well in a variety of light conditions. My favorite variety is the low-maintenance Fargesia robusta
1. Trim and shapeAn out-of-control garden bed can be easily tamed in while the weather’s still cool; trimming will help keep trees and shrubs nice and compact. Use hedge trimmers (try an electric

Love how this house relates to the garden.

box-shaped zen garden, super clean and minimalist
Stone and SandAsian-style gardens quickly come to mind in a discussion of implied movement. In fact, the Japanese have employed this technique for hundreds of years in their Zen gardens. Here finely crushed stone has been raked into patterns simulating water currents flowing, even circling stone formations
