House on the Neck
Here one sees the stone retaining walls used on site to navigate the sloping terrain. The concept was to marry the interior volumes and spaces with the exterior topography. Every wall on the exterior was paired with a set of steps on the interior closely linking the exterior and interior experience and

Possible interior wall in the cottage ?
There is nothing as awsome as an old wall, unfortunately they are very hard

Very nice glazed atrium and simplistic wall and door. Very cool
Say it with stoneCotswold stone is much loved for its honey-like tones, so this contemporary extension retains the character of the original wall, framing it in a glass box to let the natural light bring out its colours. It’s a good way for a modern extension to honour a house’s
the same material on the floors, walls and ceiling can look brilliant and this is a stunning example. This cocoon effect is so successful, I can almost hear the peace and quiet. I want to be transported there on a manic day and just stare at the beautiful stone wall, which draws the eye through the space
roof. Generous use of fully retractable window walls allow sea breezes to naturally cool living spaces which extend into the outdoors. Indoor air is filtered through an exchange system, providing a healthier air quality. Concrete surfaces on floors and walls add strength and ease of maintenance. Personality
could you tell me if the wall to the left is concrete or wood and if wood what kind?
Loves these walls. Are they tile or reclaimed wood
[houzz=...] The same structural wall is seen on the floor above in the entry. ...
The wall on the left is concrete. The forming technique is called board form. Using a series of wood boards in the forming process allows the wood grain and the widths of the boards to be imprinted into the concrete
is the grey wall textured or is it painted that way? what color did you use? I'm loving this idea for a current project im working on! Thanks so much!
What color is this orange wall?
dang I'm doing it again! the wall also looks like it was already textured with a Hopper, possibly lightly sanded and the skip trowel texture I mentioned, over previous texture.
oh I forgot to mention I practiced on scrap sheets of dry wall. It helps when your family and boyfriend family are in the
concrete accent wall complementing a colored wall
Here a line of them becomes a gallery-like display of sculptures. Usually I'd expect to see artwork on a long wall like this. Painting the wall orange and leaving the long plane of the wall unadorned exaggerates the perspective, and the way the stools draw the eye toward the ground creates another line

The baseboards on the painted wall - is that just painted on?
hi, what is the kind of wood material used for the left wall/cabinet?
trying to move furniture down a hall that narrow. If possible, tear down hallway walls where they border living areas - if the hallway begins or ends behind a living room, bkfst rm, etc... then tear out that partof the wall to make the actual hall passage shorter - but you'll still have to move bedroom
footage, so tearing down any portion of a wall, even if you have to leave a column and/or header, means not only is the hallway effectively wider, but the adjacent room just gained 3 ft of space! Now you can have a console or hutch or artwork, whatever, on the hall wall, that's part of the adjacent room! win/win
