create a foyer/hallway with a beautiful runner rug and narrow elements
This long striped rug is the perfect runner for a long white hallway, drawing the eye all the way down to the end.
the hallway to the other, has a dramatic impact. Can't find a rug that's long enough? Try sewing several of the same rugs together to create a faux runner.

Add a little charm to your hallway with Modernica George Nelson Ball Bubble Lamps. People tend to remember runners, wall art and consoles for hallways, but the ceiling needs a little love too. These are light-hearted while supplying plenty of light.

Questions1
I would like to replace my old carpet on our stairway with a decorative carpet runner. I have two landings. How do I treat this area? I am not sure if there is hard wood on this area of the stairway. There is hardwood on the left side of the stairs, this is the same side as the banister and railing
one. I would recommend painting the landings if there isn't wood under there once you pull up the carpet. You could continue the runner on the landing, or skip the runner there and add a small rug. I can't tell what color wood the stairs are - they look like a painted white.
A plain, unassuming thin runner looks good, contemporary.

Very similar hallway to the one we have in our apartment. Looking for a fun runner... I like this one, it looks plush. Not a huge fan of the color, though...
