Could you tell me about the sliding door
The sliding door is a standard paint-grade door that we painted and hung on an exposed track (on the other side of the wall). You can see a complete resource list of our house here: ...
I love the wall color and the rust-colored accent and the neutral
Wall colours and colour blend of environment
dark walls with wooden frames and accents - I like without the white contrast
wood framing for door and windows, beams on ceiling
Wood interior door trim & that cute squirrel hook!
Eggshell. One of the most popular finishes for interior walls, eggshell paint has a subtle gleam, medium reflectivity and is fairly easy to clean. It's a good all-around paint choice.

Kids' Custom Bunk Room
where are the closet doors from?
bunks along a side wall, but it just made the room seem too tight; thus, the idea to place bunks on the far/outside wall. To make such a small room seem a bit larger, we decided to also demo the entire closet to the right, which was originally plaster/framing, with 24" wide hinge-door. The closet built-in
Thanks for asking, alphia7. The closet doors are custom, made from 3/4" MDF, finished with spray-applied Sherwin-Williams ProClassic Enamel. Doors are hung with European Blum flush overlay hinges - doors are flush overlay "cabinet-style" doors.
The window on the far wall is actually an original double-hung window. Bottom section of window is still fully accessible in-case of the need for fire/emergency exiting as required for a bedroom. Bunks are built in-front of window, but window is slightly recessed from wall for access to locks/handles
