are also considering the stainless steel backsplash, and I was just wondering how hard it is to keep it free of greasy marks etc., being right by the range like that. Thanks!

Freestanding range. This kitchen sports a freestanding restaurant-style stainless steel gas range. Note the high stainless steel splash guard and warming shelf. If you choose such an appliance feature, make sure to install warming lights above the shelf. You can do that in form of pendants hanging down

Can I get more information on the hood and stainless steel backsplash/utensil racks? What brand? Where did you purchase?

backsplash brings the stove and range hood together as one unit & keeps cooking utensils handy without taking up counter space, also like the magnetic knife racks on the wall beside the stove

floating stainless steel shelf above range
I will need a stainless steel shelf between a Blue Star high powered range and the exhaust. Will the heat from the range make the shelf too hot and thus unsafe? I only plan to put spices on the shelf in non-flammable containers.
What kind of hood is used here?
What is the depth of the hood and upper cabinetry? What are the specs around this integrated configuration for the range hood? How does it perform? I see the gas range, so curious to make sure hood is efficient. I love this look but want

Who makes the above range shelf?
how is the metal shelf above the range secured to the wall? I don't see brackets? Thank you.

large shelf for pots and pans
like the hood w/ the shelf
Above-range shelf. If you use your cookware daily, you may want to store it on a shelf right above the range. If you opt to store cookware in the open and you cook often, you'll want to have a vent hood that can pull grease out of the air and exhaust it to the outside, so that your pots and pans don't

on how to buy hood vent

right vent hood. Vent hoods are rated by the cubic feet per minute (CFM) of air they can suck from a room. While formulas for determining how much power you’ll need vary, you’ll want to start by acquainting yourself with the basics. There’s no point in buying a hood that’s larger than your range. It won’t
won’t really suck more smoke out, and it won’t look right either. Gas ranges generate more heat than electric ones, and thus require more powerful vent hoods.Maxxing out the CFMs isn’t always a good thing. For example, a 1,000-CFM vent hood will suck the air from a 10-by-10-by-10 room in about a minute, then
