Tall Grasses and Canguroo plants in planter bed
can be a popular choice for a low edging plant. Their fresh seasonal foliage and flowers overcome the landscape situation of many species' dying back over
s cultivars means that the plants can be used to match almost any colour scheme. I love the way this simple green planting scheme includes a clump of tall
long flowering habit from spring through to summer makes them a very useful plant to use in perennial borders and beds.

Calonian was right — the large agave like plant is indeed a Furcraea. The smaller plant to the right (with orange/red bloom) is a kangaroo paw
They look like Australian native plants. The large-leaf one looks like a Gymea Lily. It gets one very large red
advantage when planted as a focal point.
Use plants as sculpture. Some plants, such as this agave-like Furcraea (zones 9 to 11), are so dramatic that they effectively function as living sculpture
sculpture. They are shown to best advantage when planted as a focal point. In this garden the furcraea softens a garden corner while captivating the eye.

larged leafe plant is called to the right of the urn down the back. I was wanting to see if they would suit being in a large pot as a feature plant. Thanks
The strappy plants on the RHS of the urn are Strelitzia Nicolai or generally known as Giant Bird of Paradise. Hope that helps
is there a plant similar to this that doesn't flower?
