skinny windows seems to be a fairly common tactic. This stems from concerns on both sides of the wall: the exterior may benefit from the repetition of windows, and, depending on the size of a room, one window may not be enough. It’s a thoroughly modern aesthetic that quietly showcases the window frame as an opening, without the fussiness and associated stylistic hang-ups of trim. Also known for his principles of organic architecture, Wright had almost everything in the home made of natural materials. Here, the vintage
Vertical. The tall panes of glass and warm wood framing in this Frank Lloyd Wright home echo the vertical lines of the trees outside the windows, creating a seamless transition from indoors to out. A riff on this design would work well in a modern living space — especially one with high ceilings

Love the house and the store front windows. Would it un-polite to ask for the construction cost per square foot and if the store front style were build on or off site?
The stove is by RAIS, see http://us.rais.com/ The windows and sliding doors are LowE insulated glass with aluminum frames, made by a small company in Michigan that is no longer in business. In fact, we had enormous problems with delivery of the windows and doors because of the company's financial problems
