Hearth ideas: like the amt of overhanging concrete/quartz
wood base running to end of the wall; would reduce depth of hearth in half

If you mean the hearth, it is poured concrete, not wood. The wooden floating shelves are from BO Concepts.
They are not brick, but Heath Ceramics matte brown field tiles.

Regarding your answer on the form for the fireplace - do you thinks this was done as one form with a lightweight concrete mix, or , as a bunch of large tiles? Thanks.
Hi, can you tell me how did you do the fireplace? Is it full of concret or a tile? I'm planning to do one of this in my house. Thank you in advance!
Where can I purchase these concrete tiles?

This is really sublimely beautiful. Is this a stone tile that was used? Would you be kind enough to send me more information regarding the material used on the fireplace wall and surround?

Concrete & glass fireplace
This modern fireplace features a concrete tile surround and glass media fire.
tile looks very good and expensive
i was reading about the type of tile used in the project and it is concrete tile. i want to no if there is any other tile that can be used in a project like this that will endure heat from a fire
Actually, any ceramic, porcelain, glass or natural stone tile will be fine in the heat. There are some large floor tiles that would look similar to this, but the effect would not be the same. You have to touch this concrete tile to truly appreciate it. It is as smooth as a baby's backside.
we could have a piece of granite made for the hearth and then tile around
