residents side meditation garden. In modern times, cairns are often erected as landmarks, a use they have had since ancient times. Since prehistory, they have also been built as sepulchral monuments, or used for defensive, hunting, ceremonial, astronomical and other purposes.
three sculptures....or no we just had someone copy his work. I believe it is the latter for the shapes are more squat than his signature shape. Which is it.....atributed to or real? Also Andy Goldsworthy's pieces do not have seams flowing up to take away from the stability of the masonry...these

There is no question that these three rock formations add mass to this meditation garden. Clearly, these pieces are man-made, but because they were built from native stone rather than from metal or fiberglass

Meditation could be cool by veggies
Walking meditation path, what a great idea, and a wonderful focal point or conversation starter! Looks so elegant, calm. Maybe you don't even have to walk it, you can just stare at it! LOL!

6. Sculpture and art. Don't feel like you have to relegate the sculpture garden to a different part of the property. Landscape around the pool with a sculpture garden to add a sense of meditative calm.

Great sculpture. Where did it come from?
The sculpture is by Mary Callery, part of the New York School art movement of the 1940s. They are sold through auction houses and galleries. We placed steel in the wall to support the sculpture.

other sculpture seems so much more interesting and whimsical perched on the wall instead of on a pedestal. For a minute it makes you wonder if gravity has shifted.
